Story: Ineta (Perfumographer) 📸

An interview with Ineta (IG: perfumographer). “Perfumes, to me, are like little bottles of self-expression.” Years in Barcelona drew her into niche perfumery. She distinguishes between “niche wearable” and “niche art” — the latter being pieces you admire knowing you’d probably never wear them, like Akelarre by NBitor, inspired by Goya’s darkest work. Recent finds: Bruno Acampora’s Keep On Dancing, Perris Montecarlo’s Vanille de Tahiti, and a fast-selling Russian Oud.
Sustainability News 👆️
Ingredient sourcing/processing and packaging are the major CO₂ sources along the fragrance value chain. A standout innovation: mushroom mycelium packaging from grown.bio — grown from local agricultural waste (hemp), a sustainable alternative to expanded polystyrene. Other innovations: cotton packaging (GraciousMinds), hemp packaging (Mineral Health) and seaweed packaging (Notpla).
Fragrance Picks 🤌
