Bart Puzio — Jan Barba (Warsaw, 🇵🇱). “Jan Barba” is a fictional herbalist character; favourite scent AIYOKU, inspired by Alex Kerr’s Lost Japan. Starts new creations in the cold, scent-free air of January.

Wasim Nouh — Damascent (London, 🇬🇧). Childhood in Damascus — jasmine, bakeries, spice markets. His Barada bridges London’s greenery and Damascus’s richness.

Matt Kaschel — Postmodern Perfumer (Bonn, 🇩🇪). Has phantosmia — an olfactory hallucination he calls a superpower — dreaming in smells. Upcoming: “Broken Flowers.”

Siann Gobin — Cygnet Perfumery (Mornington Peninsula, 🇦🇺). Discovered perfumery in New Caledonia; trained at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery. Debut: Avant la Nuit.

Shawn Maher — Chatillon Lux & Maher Olfactive (St. Louis, 🇺🇸). His Weinstrasse is inspired by Missouri’s Weinstrasse and his German heritage; documents his process at scent-notes.com.

Chad Bylsma — Âge de Querelle (Seattle, 🇺🇸). From train technician to perfumer; best-seller Séverine. Part of the Seattle Perfumers Collective.

Riyal Noor — Riyal Noor (Sulawesi, 🇮🇩). Draws on Indonesian naturals (patchouli, nutmeg, vetiver, sandalwood) and music; his Sunset captures day to night.

Giovanni Sammarco — Sammarco Perfumes (St. Gallen, 🇨🇭/🇮🇹). A jurist turned perfumer; best-seller Vitrum blends vetiver, rose and black pepper.

Cláudia Camacho — (Sintra, 🇵🇹). From contemporary art to perfumery, mentored by Marina Barcenilla; debut Mystery captures Sintra’s misty mountains.

Anjali Vandemark — Anjali Perfumes (Seattle, 🇺🇸/🇮🇳). Uses ~400 materials to create olfactory stories; best-seller Himalayan Dawn.
